About the Program

About the Program

Think & Design combines Agriculture and Engineering to give students hands-on, real-world experiences in science, technology, and sustainability. Students learn to solve problems, work collaboratively, and apply critical thinking skills.

  • THINK (Agriculture, Certified Agriscience):

    • Foundational Agriscience knowledge: plant and animal science, food science, natural resources, and leadership

    • Hands-on projects and problem-solving activities

    • Collaboration and teamwork skills

    • Certified Agriscience course

  • DESIGN (Engineering):

    • Students learn the engineering design process: defining problems, brainstorming solutions, creating prototypes, and testing their ideas

    • Hands-on projects encourage creativity, problem-solving, and teamwork through real-world challenges like building roller coasters, bridges, Ferris Wheels, and skyscrapers

    • Lessons integrate science, technology, engineering, and math (STEM) to build critical thinking skills

    • Projects emphasize revision and improvement, helping students learn from faillures and refine their designs

    • Collaboration and group work help students develop leadership adn teamwork abilities
